It may be easier for the camel to go through the needle's eye, than for business people to raise the bar of earth friendly services above the quest for profit, and also for the general public to stop the practices that promote carbon emission daily but it is the path of pursuit, if we must continue to exist and do business at all.
We must be proactive in our effort to reverse the trend that is destroying our world.
We must discourage business practices that endangers our environment.
We must report, refuse to buy products and stage rallies to appeal to the consciences of business leaders that only care for profits and careless for our environment.
For Nigeria l, I believe we can take advantage of the NATIONAL YOUTH SERVICE CORP programme being yearly and having the highest reach to the very borders of our nation to make our corpers The Ambassador Of Green Energy for which they also empowered financial and probably this may also turn to be viable business they can settle down for- Production of biofuel for energy generation in the rural areas, solar powered Energy systems for rural community consumption, pay as you go power solar systems, solar powered lantern, borehole, irrigation etc.
We can include in the General studies of final year students of Universities and Polytechnics, the study and benefits of discouraging carbon emission and value chain of green energy.
The earth is our greatest valuable resource.
We must be our environmental watchdogs.
This is our collective responsibility.
