BUY NAIJA CAMPAIGN

From Odusina Adewale HIWORKS

It is a primary priority that we the  true Nigerian fight for the reversal of the trend created by the conspiracy of the Power Brokers, domestic and foreign, to the end that we maintain import dependency status.

'Buy NAIJA'; it starts with that conscious  orientation.

Why should Nigerians pay for  finished products in Asia routed through Europe for endorsement by multinational brands and shipped to Africa; and all the duties and taxes attended for crying out loud ???

The rest of the world should applaud and celebrate Africa for their sustainance: we buy everything and particularly with cash in full. ( creating Foreign liquidity and domestic scarsity), help them sustain low interest loan,  guarantee their job security, sustain their GDP among many things at the detriment of Africa development.

Little wonder, they will rather have us maintain the status quo and probably Financially induce our very very small minority  policy makers to indirectly formulate import friendly policies like subsidy support, selling our institutions to foreign managers and investors.

I mean, spending 1billion dollars yearly to sustain 200billion dollar import  Friendly business  investment will be a great strategy.

It is amazing that everything we do here in  Nigeria and especially our cash use policy for almost everything favours primarily Europe,  America, UAE, Asia, Australia. We even carried cash to South Africa to acquire guns and ammunitions.

Our banking policy of high interest short term loan and cumbersome requirement is obviously a conspiracy
to the end that local manufacturing be made an unattractive venture.

Our leaders supports their flamboyant lifestyle with painfully generated taxpayer's money outside this country, launder the funds abroad; paying cash for everything so that it can't be traced. This crime would have been less grievous
if such funds were  invested here to create jobs.

If the enemies of our economic development knew how telecommunication will impact on growth, we would still be in the arms of the almighty NITEL. Maybe they were beating by their own game.

This same conspiracy killed Nigerian Airways, then one of the best Airways in Africa in the 70s and early 80s and employing thousands and from around the world.

Little wonder public power has never worked for over 50years of investment. THIS IS ONLY POSSIBLE WHEN THE RICH AND POWERFUL IN BUSINESS AND POLITICS HAVE CONSPIRED TO ENSURE INEFFECTIVENESS IN THE POWER INDUSTRY. We only need to look at all the triving investment opportuned by the decadence in the power sector. The triving investments far exceed all the billions of dollars wasted by Government to transform the power sector.

If I am a smart foreign investor in Generator importation and I am to conspire and aid my importation business interest, what would be my target- public power supply and every policy around it.

It is only in Africa that locally made goods are more expensive than comparative imported ones, courtesy of high cost of energy for production   high interest rate loans and import duties on raw materials and equipment.

We can fight this conspiracy by refusing to buy foreign goods.

So buy Naija....

If Nigerians and local manufacturers decide that 90% of what they need daily will be sourced from local farms and industries for the next 4 years and Government create a rewards systems that can track these activities and also track the growth and monthly go public with the progress made, we shall by these destroy the effect of the conspiracy from its root and consequential set our economy free.

Again, Buy Naija....

To be continued...
