Paying Attention To Details

Paying Attention To Details
From Odusina Adewale Hiworks

Most of the time, the extra attention we need to pay for excellent work will not be up to 10% of the total time spent in getting a job done.

Consequently,it implies costwise, 10% of the total cost of labour can be set aside  for this critical engagement.

In most cases when the poorly finished work is to be remedied, the cost is always above 10% and sometimes other members of the project team are affected and the cost keeps rising.

Other effect of poorly finished work are blacklisting, loss of revenue from future business relationship and possible future  references.

As smart business people, every first business engagement must be seen as connecting to 10 to 20 times more revenue directly and indirectly. Meaning, when the  first business engagement with a client is worth $100,000.00 then the relationship must be carefully and consciously serviced until the first milestone of a million dollars, then 2million dollars, and afterwards the 3rd milestone of $10,000,000.00.

There must be a structure in place to closely monitor client retainership and revenue growth per client and with their referrals. When Client A refers A1 to A10, then each of the A1 to A10 refers A1-1 to A1-10 respectively.

Any client not well serviced, research indicated, will tell 10 other prospects and those well served will tell ONE prospect.

We must have clearly defined  strategies to get such to refer 10 via lots of value added propositions and paying attention to DETAILS culturally.

HIWORKS implies High Quality Works.
