Change always preceed Opportunities

When we embrace any positive change or ideology, we also automatically, open our sphere to opportunities that change carry along with it.
However, when we don't embrace change or become apprehensive because of the imminent change or we are opposed to it, we open our sphere to the extinction that change brings to ideologies that have become obsolete.

Can you imaging an office in these highly competitive  and aggressive marketplace ,still having pentium 4 computers  running  microsoft operation system (os) called xp and saying, there is no point moving to window os  because the computers are still working.

Extinction is in progress for the company above.

Change always deliver goodies to all that are favourably disposed.

I was a staff of a high profile Building Services Mechanical & Electrical  Engineering firm  years back for about 5years. About 10years before my engagement, they had  a major change in transition from manual drafting to Computer Aided Design Drafting with AutoCAD  among other softwares that were introduced for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

The change above caused the rise and fall of many of their staff as they related to the change. The change came with the necessary challenging adjustments and tough calls and in the end  brought about remarkable growth.

I came into the system at the advent of another major Software Technological change and ISO certification.

This major transformation also brought about the rise and fall of many like the initial one as different people are disposed to the change.

Now, I see my Alma mater organization, CA Consultant,all over the Island in Lagos, Nigeria and I am not surprised they are one of the First 5 star ranking consulting firms in the country .

When the management of an organization is positively resolute about change and positions favourable, it may be tough but always temporarily. When change begins to deliver the respective goodies, it will prove a worthwhile venture.
