Don't be a victim of social media gullibility, PLEASE!!!

Don't be a victim of social media gullibility, PLEASE!!!

From Odusina Adewale Hiworks

Social media have really bridged the gap; I had a crystal clear voice call to the Uk in a crystal clear IMO platform yesterday for almost 30minutes.

That would have been a financial burden on voice call.

A lot of information also flying everywhere and I also share a lot of unverified information from unverified sponsors too.

A big BUT here!!!

Do, do not not take a any info, by SMS, online, or on social media hook, line, and sinker PLEASE BEWARE-SHINE YOUR EYE O!!!

Do not resign from your reliable employment to chase The Smoke screen; a flashy employment that pay once in 3 months after  an attractive first 3 months of employment.

Don't invest your funds in a business just because they promised a trip to ecstasy; you may need to check for another one year how many people have actually being to ECSTACY city and back.

Don't jump at calling a phone number or email indicated or visiting an address just because your received a BANK STATEMENTS by email and SMS stating that your account is having a zero balance

In as much as we need change in our lives,  we must have a way to secure ourselves from dangerous BAITS of wicked and unreasonable people looking at taking advantage of NAIVE person(s).

Here are some measures:

Do not go to a questionable address without telling 2 or more people that have oversight on you and request that they call you later.

Also call at such address before accessing.

A lot of us have  smartphones with GPS locator or you can download on Google play and for blackberry, IPhone and Microsoft phone user find out how to use GPS and you can automate captures and automatic emails of your phone location to your loved ones or concerned persons.

Some smartphones automatically send their last location to already defined emails or persons who might be able to take decisions with such information.

Meetings with unknown persons is strongly advised to be in public places whether the person sounds like angel on the phone,  is a male or a female.

Run a background check on such companies,  or person(s) online and ask them if they have a relationship with any Nigerian bank; you may likely have friends in such banks that can check them out, probably call their account manager to make some integrity checks.

Whatever you do to secure your life, loved ones, business and properties is never too much.
