We must redefine college education to our teaming youth; it must mean more to them that just a certificate to show one is schooled. It must mean economic self development preparatory program.

When this is the goal, then the programme must show the deliberate path to that future.

Otherwise A SMART STUDENT must alongside getting the so-called college education, which will just serve a basic social accreditation perception purposes, do other programs probably online and also offline that will make the college education marketable.

For example, a student of College Physiology can take up online information technology, lessons on business operations, money management, workplace inclusivity, Business & Operations, Customer Service, Staffing, Operations & Commerce, Selling, Workplace Inclusivity, Workplace Productivity,Employee Management, Career Development,Brand & Identity, Marketing & Measurement and many more.

Some of this skill development are available for free online (Try Google Primer and LinkedIn) and after completion and certain test of knowledge, certificates are issued.

Others will be for them to pick up trades...barbing, fashion designing, art works, vehicle and truck repairs, vehicle body works, cooking, laundry works and such kind of trades.

The world has changed and changing but a lot of our youths are still chasing the lost cheese.

They are in denial or lazy or fooled that the school certificate will deliver the lost cheese.

We need to push as many of them in our circle of influence to do the needful so they are not out of school and dependent.

Remember the demographic information says in Africa, over 50% of our population are below 40years.

 In 2021, there were around 207 million children aged 0-4 years in Africa. The population aged 17 years and younger amounted to approximately 650 million. In contrast, only approximately 48 million individuals were aged 65 years and older as of the same year.

If we don't take up the challenge today, we shall have in our society of tomorrow a catastrophic unemployable graduates to deal with.

Employment in the future will be for employable people that may not necessarily be college graduates but college graduates with employable skills will be ahead of the competition.

No Child of God is Less Privileged

No child of God is less privileged. This is one of the realities of being a child of God and knowing so. Our God is Rich onto all that call upon Him.

I see a lot of sell-outs to the 'less privileged' association, especially with children looking for scholarship opportunities, communities looking for aids and such windows for buying into the classification are presented as baits. People, Christians, to win scholarships, favours will come with the 'less privileged' status or identification. This is a very wrong mental disposition for the point of view of who we have become in Christ.

The United States is one of the most indebted nations in the world but it will never be classified as a poor nation. They are still today, one of the most philanthropic nations in the world. They are so committed to their citizens to the point that even the missionary young man in his twenties kidnapped by terrorists and brought into our country,  a citizen that could only offer $40 to his abductors was rescued within four days by the best of American military forces, the navy seals. That would have cost some millions in dollars. 

That is how America place premium on their citizens. If you claim to be Christ, you are the citizen of God's Kingdom on Earth and your value is His life, meaning everything He is and everything He owns. When he was trying to demonstrate that value, He went to the cross, became the curse, paid our debt for sin and gave us a clean bill of blessing...access to everything God is and everything God owns. That is why it is called Too good to be true news; The Good News, or The Gospel.

We are not Less Privileged!!! I will rather stay without a man's help than receive any help because I am perceived to be needy, poor, less privileged, vulnerable, endangered or any of such.

I am blessed and empowered to succeed with the help of God flooding by being. This is how I see it. My life is flooded with this truth and I can not see otherwise; it is too late actually, it is an all-consuming continual transformation process that is getting clearer and clearer.

If you are a believer in the truth, carry it on your head like crazy or as it> is said today in our local YORUBA parlance, like KILODE!!!.

Refuse for life to isolate you from the benefits of your royalty; take responsibility for your royalty and the paraphernalia of spiritual attendances for Purpose, Providence,  Productivity, Preservation and Procreation through mentorship.

Everybody is incubating something consciously and unconsciously. The future is already determined by your investment in times and seasons.

If one is doing nothing, well for whatever reasons one chooses to be claiming irresponsibility for inaction, the future has nothing in store for such one.

Doing nothing and idling away is proof that one does not see TIME like one sees MONEY.

It is the value of time that keeps changing probably from $1 per hour to $1milion per hour. 

Anyone in any nation, no matter how the economy is can grow the strength of his or her time value to the point that, no matter the currency of exchange, such will be rich and powerful. That is really what every Man must strive to build capacity for. 

This quest can be pursued by anyone and the opportunities to journey this path are upon all mankind; it is in every man's mission to journey the path of success and achieve greatness and invaluableness.

This is the real deal.

I have seen a retired principal rewarded with a brand new car, an SUV precisely, by students group she taught in the 90s and other teachers receiving cash awards. Many of such keep happening to show time value must be delivered; it can't be lost..it is a sovereign decree.

For the young graduates of higher institutions lazing around and still exploiting parenthood, hoping for a dream job that will come someday, the people fanning your uselessness unfortunately are destroying you and you do not even know it. Probably you are hoping to take over business inheritances.

For all of you defined above, Time gives what you have earned and also ferociously takes what you do not deserve. Little wonder businesses have suffered retrogression when passed down to undeserving children that failed the test of time and grit. 

Know now, you have everything already for greatness because you have the greatest invaluable resource, equal share with everyone else in life; TIME.

When was your last time online doing something that improves your trade?

Mine was last hour.

.

Something caught my attention some hours ago. I was watching a FREE empowerment session 'Taking the market as an Underdog' with Niyi Adesanya on YouTube for about two hours and only about 800 views after one year. I also check some of his other videos with a similar level of traffic. 

However, I checked the traffic for comedies and related fun fairs and the traffic was averaging over 500,000 views. 

Both had free access but most people are not interested in fishing or knowing how to position better for more effectiveness and get more. They are just comfortable with associating with successful fishers and probably getting from the crumbs that falls off unfortunately. 

Everyone must move from employees to stakeholders mentality; that mentality always deliver more into the Commonwealth platform. Even in government, if civil service become more efficient prompted by this mentality, more savings will be made and the excess will be available for the common good.

Little wonder, the low level of new entrance into entrepreneurships, partnerships and stake holdings.

We are not all going to be business owners but we must all at least grow from employees to become stakeholders in every sense of that in our chosen industries.

THAT TRANSITION WILL NEVER HAPPEN IF WE DO NOT INVEST INTO THE REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE BASE  AND WE SPEND OUR TIME ONLINE  WATCHING ARTISTE AND OTHER SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE IN THEIR CRAFTS.

The trials life presents to us do not always come scheduled like the academic examinations with dates and times and so we are caught red handed and our responses are most likely unrehearsed.

Unfortunately, unrehearsed response or otherwise determines what happened next; The result. This can be extra ordinary, excellent, good, pass or fail.

We know every failed exam is repeat until at least a pass.

Also, the quality of performance in life examinations also impact on future roles, responsibilities, influence, rewards and all that.

If we are not watchful we may just be circling the same spot for years and be blaming others for it when the issue is that we have been failing our life examinations.

A civil service worker that clocks in and leaves the office to run personal interests and gets paid salaries for inactivities is failing life examinations without knowing it. Also those doing eye service are not better of.

Life examination can not be bamboozled as action and inaction are equally recorded against every player.

Work is spiritual and every work is rewarded; you are either owing or being owed and every work gets paid for.

Every trial is a spiritual engagement and for as long as we are here, we are in one, coming out of one and going into one.

Every trial is scored and rewarded, otherwise failed trials will be repeated.

Unbelievably, nature abounds in resources to take EVERY HUMAN BEING on His trials. A graduate comfortable with idling at home because the dream job has not come is failing. Every Work gets paid for. A graduate can volunteer in a neighborhood school to teach while awaiting a dream job. This is just an example.

One of the ways to beat life's trials is to live deliberately and truthful. To stay committed to excellent performance in every engagement, To starve daily self aggrandizement and strife to help others make progress.

This is exactly what the Grace of God has come to animate in our lives. This is the true reflection of a Christian lifestyle.

Embrace the help of God today, Jesus Christ and be defined by His excellences. You will discover how easy it is to drive in Lagos and not raise your voice again to fellow road users, be a law abiding citizen, be slow to speak and to anger, be ready to forgive, be ready help others make progress, among other virtues of a Godly life. It is amazing that when we are travelling even to an unknown destination, we keep an imaginary picture of the location in our mind before and on the journey; we don't mentalize the roadblocks, the bushes, the traffic, the cloud, the rain, and all at the same depth of emotional connection as the destination of interest.

Any financial success scheme that exempt one from some labour, mental, physical or both and it's not engaging any logical legitimate process but all premised on luck is preparing one for pain, uncertainties, Chaos, hunger and hyper tension. 

Decide what contribution you want to make in your community; it can be as simple as making stationeries like note books, biros, pencils and erazers available for school children to buy on their way to school and devote your life to that. 

In every city of Lagos, we have more than 100,000 school children and at least 50% of them will misplace those items daily and have them replaced at such a spot like the one you will provide. 

Simply grow your reach of such children daily and your financial growth is the reality.

One must decide where that societal contribution will be made and launch in.

Character is destiny.

Find the work, Do the work, Do the work well, find more work, get paid and become truly wealthy.

True wealth is not cash in the bank but the gratification that you have reached the community of people that you were meant to touch with your contribution to society.

What must determine when I set up a private practice? What are the character traits of sustainable business?

I believe when the root of a business has the right foundation, the chances it will weather all the storms are very high.

I believe many businesses had it wrong from the mental foundation before any business name is coined.

When one decides to set up a business prompted by pressure from superiors or management for any inappropriate behaviours like AWOL, lack of depth, mismanagement of resources, lateness, insubordination, impatience, intolerance, poor communication and such like that such business may not survive for the lack of business culture.

For any business to survive, the industry players must put themselves UNDER the rule of healthy business cultural practices and keep abreast of such related International best practices.

When going private practice is prompted by the desire to do things with no respect for business culture, it is not different from trying to burn fat and look fit but one is not cutting down on heavy calories.

The reality is that businesses are thoughts, wholesome thoughts like season film scripts looking for animators. Everyone catching in must be ready to go the entire scripts to experience the entire vision, otherwise, a business shipwreck is inevitable.

It is actually the business owning you and not the other way round. It is just providence that made you the face of the business. Knowing this truth prior to considering a business venture is very critical. It will make you very accountable where you are currently.

To say I own my business is hypothetically correct. It is more correct to say I preside over a business conceptualized.

If the desire to set up a business is centred on acquiring wealth, becoming rich the long haul of waiting to see the wealth will be intolerable and most people will jump from one business to another and waste lots of resources.

Remember, businesses are pages of scripts that must be animated and two similar businesses are not similar in their scripts and as one is climbing against the tide, the other may be descending and aided by the tides. Everyone must pay attention to their peculiar rhythm. It is like asking scriptwriters to write for the same title; one will get as many perspectives as the different writers or ask different engineers to design a particular solution, a thousand of them will draw from a thousand perspectives and they could all be flawless.

When one fully understand that presiding over a business idea does not free one from more work but demands from such more responsibility, such will think deeper before venturing.

Self Employment, even from what it suggests, that is being self-employed is a more laborious self engagement.

The moment one is doing things off the script, you are deviating from the peculiar brand philosophy and off the set destination.

Everything is in the particular business script; from the business name to the various business services, values and principles to weather relative and evolving challenges and also succession plan are all in the scripts.

The more we are ready to be under the rule of the scripts, the more the scripts will unfold. Hiworks

The Rhetoric should rather be 'choose your own boss'

The Rhetoric 'be your own boss' is hypothetically correct.The world is full of bosses; everyone plays boss daily; the moment you receive or refuse any service or you use your right to pay or refuse to pay for unsatisfactory service, which we do perpetually, we are showing our boss right over another irrespective of their position in the society. Remember, the customer is  boss.

The Rhetoric should rather be             'choose your own boss' & the first right of refusal is totally at your discretion.

Little wonder both the employer & the employee reserve the right to fire the other party.Hiworks
