There is a consensus, that the most important capital or resource is Human in any organization; Priced higher than money. However, if there is no Money, chances are you may not be able to build that human capital.

It is very easy to build an island around unavailability of financial capital when it's NOT a level 5 problem; level 5 of 100-the starter's level.

It's being advised by many business development gurus, that, it is better to experiment a new business with very low risk bearing capital.

This is where Social Capital Deployment comes to bear.

Social Capital, Layman Definition, is the value you command leveraging on Relationships you have built mostly directly and indirectly from the Day you were born to the Day you come across this Article... And you can not get the definition simpler than that.

Social Capital is mostly emotionally accrued over the years of interactions, with relations, friends, colleagues across our sphere of engagements and also very importantly across the sphere of engagements of the relations, friends and colleagues we interact with.

Social Capital can open unimaginable doors of opportunities that you may never be able to command even with highest level of education and financial capital.

For the purpose of example, one of my Siblings work a Federal Media Organization and by virtue of what she does so well, Technically, she has political access to certain Ministers and Commissioners, She can virtually take people to the living room of such political bigwigs; Bigwigs that people with financial capital and all will have to book appointment to see.

Some drivers and gatemen have such huge social capital,that can open unimaginable doors when you have them as friends. Some Tailors, Barbers,musicians will shock you with their Power of Access they carry.

Marriages have created huge social capital for many to exploit as well as Certain Relationships. People have gotten jobs and businesses just because they are related and born by certain Influential or Legacy Parents.

Some parents will invest in certain schools in view of the interactions and leverages that they anticipate their children will have in the future.

Inspite of all the handouts, the biggest contributions to growing Social Capital is the ones you invested yourself; from toddlers, primary school,secondary school, while learning your trade, or in higher institutions, when you got your job,or the business, how diligent you came across, the fidelity rating, the trust rating you built with your small breaks and all will add up to your Social Capital.

The other critical avenue to built a Social capital leverage is from friends and Colleagues you schooled and worked together  previously. Most of such interactions were closely engaging for more than 4years. And now with  the advent of social media and such like, the capital can grow exponentially and be leveraged for low risk financial capital, intellectual capital, material capital and more.

Reward & Responsibility in local parlance are 6&7.

Reward when it is normal is momentary and at transitional point of a trajectory.

Rewards are solemnized by feelings of achievement or punitive measures. Rewards points to the past and when over pampered become weights and clog in the Wheel of progress. Over celebrated rewards is another word for Pride. When one over-dwells on the past, it becomes a drag.

Responsibility culminates into reward and this is window of transition for deeper engagement and further show of Responsibility is expected.

For a baby to be delivered from pregnancy, both the Baby and the Mother have very important critical roles. The failure of either to play these crucial roles always put more responsibility on the medical team at delivery.

We call the reward of responsible fetus and mother Normal Delivery. Afterwards, Baby lives the solitary confinement of the womb and at the very climax of that exit, takes responsibility for oxygen in the blood systems by breathing and mum after the womb base caretaking does not go on 3 weeks break but picks up nursing and feeding the new born from the tenderly through the very crucial stages where others can join in the caretaking.

What will happen if the mother goes on three weeks leave, or baby decides to insist on belly button supply of food and oxygen???? We all know the obvious reward.

We can see that Rewards sometimes are so momentary that it seems very unnoticeable but Responsibilities are too tangible to overlook.

We have all watched football matches where a team that just score a goal, gets beating two goals down, while in the climax of the euphoria of the goal scored just few minutes back. In the same light, a team that just conceded a goal, is most likely to lose further within the few minutes of the loss.

Managing Gratification, Failure & Punitive Measures properly is crucial to Sustainable Success in Life.

I have observed lots of people look forward to retirement and at retirement, they degenerate so rapidly within the first few months that I wondered, what was triggered in their Psyche during the retirement, that aggravated the ageing process. A lot of people, few months into retirement become financially handicapped as most of their savings and benefits become consumed by depression and its bagwagon.
To live Long and Well, we must keep Discovering our Next Responsibilities and Consciously Playing Down On Gratifications, Failures, and Consequences Of Previous Acts Of Irresponsibility.

At retirement, one can pick up an advisory role, teaching, mentoring, or writing roles among many others like sales of goods and services, farming, sporting classes-teaching retirees by example on how to stay fit, open a gym.

For young ones without a job, volunteer somewhere, choose within 30-60mins walk distance from where you reside; you will definitely find someone that needs an extra hand. Pick up soft skill while waiting and volunteer to gain mastery of use; that will come handy on your next employment.

Above all, avoid all illegality; they are the biggest subtle killers of the creative potentials of the mind. Can you imagine doing three times more work just to commit a crime?

Take that Woman in the Kitchen;

That Queen in our elements;
Take that Woman to the Negotiations

Take that Baby, Boy or Girl;
That Baby Unassuming, Unpretentious and Unafraid;
Yes That Baby Personality to the Teenager He or She shall become.

Teenagers, Keep That Baby Personality; very Believing Personality; Unassuming, Unpretentious and Unafraid
Teenagers, don't loose that Baby Personality; very Believing Personality and Unafraid to the Adult you shall become.

Pause now!!! Know for sure
You shall be Pressed to Trade in Your Believing sometimes by those you believed in
You shall be taught otherwise by those that have chosen to be defined by certain fear; they've been deceived but do not know.

So, if you are already there, assuming, afraid and unbelieving in your guts, Shake off that beast and let the Lion arise from within.

Every situation and indeed every Experience or Potentially Defining Negative Identity, Have  Value Chains Waiting To Be Exploited After all; One Just Needs To Dig for Enough Time To Find THEM

What a Paradox! One might say, but it is the truth. Truth cannot be negated by someones experiences. And sometimes because your value chain have not been converted to monetary benefit should not negate the potential social equity.

Check out the following value chains

1. The awareness of a spate of burglary activities or an armed robberies or kidnapping at a particular season can initiate a substantial sales in security improvement mechanism; acquisition of dogs, reinforcement of access into facilities, bullet proofing of vehicles, acquisition of varieties of alarm systems, installation of electric perimeter fence, relocation to more secured estates and so on. Remember that certain people by virtue of their safety violation made public created such a huge value chain they may never be commissioned for. The above could trigger businesses in that season worth a billion dollars accross the world.

2. One can fall a victim of ones poor living lifestyle, and experience poor health challenges; diabetes, heart. Diseases,  breathing problems, sight defect, daring defect or any form of terminal concerns. Such victim may given six month to demise. Such can decide to write a book about how he or she got to this point of seemingly no return, what the doctor prescribed to remedy or relieve, the weekly improvement made,  the challenges of eating and drinking adjustment. He may not even be a professional writer and then outsourced to a publisher to turn this manuscript into a bestseller and multi-millionaire on full recovery or further decline. Such may start out the recovery therapy on issurance benefit and recover fully a millionaire or in death. Note carefully there would never have been a best seller, if there was not a health challenge.

3. At a funeral meeting,  most attendees reflect on the true meaning of life and only God can appreciate how much value chain this brings to peoples lifes; the divorce called off,the marriages healed, the bad habits dropped, the businesses set on the right cause, the brands established,  the excesses stopped,  the social responsibilities initiated, the foundations established and the pool could be worth Trillions of dollars every year.

4.Bankruptcy is one of the most dreaded status an organisation wants to be associated with and when any fall a victim of this in any particular year, the related organisations tend to a renewed commitment towards accountability and quality operational ethics. Sentiments are suspended,  people get sacked or relieved, more competent hands may be absorbed, a new appraisal system may be acquired,  staff may be retrained to facilitate the embrace of fresh innovation and technology.

5.Britain is one of the strongest economies of the world and yet very poorly in natural resources. They have evidently validated the power of human (intellectual and strong business ethics) and social equity over material resources.

6. One may have bad habit(s),  that have impacted greatly on performance in any capacity, that one has become seemingly permanently a victim of such. Another may become lamed from an accident and the most valuable asset of the body is lost ; sight of an engineer; one hand of a boxer;a leg for a sprinter and all kinds and so on.

The whole idea of this peace is that,  we only become The Victim by Choice.

But, When we refuse the victim status and tune in to an Opportunist, the mind will automatically explore the value chain of recovery.

A gateman lost his job for answering a simple question correctly and he was immediately redeployed to a higher responsibility as an Assistant Chief security officer of a multinational.
A chief security officer lost his job for answering a simple question wrongly, and was given the option of Gatemaning (which became open when the Gateman was sacked and redeployed)
The CEO of a multinational at a previous Staff General Meeting,  instructed everyone to be mindful of the company overall agenda and be inspired by it to carry out their bit into the business success pool.
Everyone was required to meditate on the mission and vision  statement  boldly inscribed in a signage  at the reception.
A well dressed staff walking in early to the clocking machine, exchanged pleasantry with the CEO at the car park.
Impressed by the dressing and general gesture, the CEO asked what he does for the company and his answer was mind blowing.
He said 'as the first contact with visitors, he gives the first right impression of the organization as a first class Energy Service Provider with first class warm welcome and attendance while not compromising safety and security at the gate.
The CEO became speechless for some seconds and requested to see the HR and the chief security officer at his office to have a look,at the employment  document of the Gateman to be sure he was not over qualified for the works.
The CEO asked the CSO what he does for the organization and he said he ensures law and order in the Company. Not satisfied with the answer the CEO asked what the company mission and vision statements are and how  he aligns his responsibilities to the overall agenda.
The CSO could not share the statement or give it a paraphrased impression.
The admin confirmed the CSO to have being in that capacity for 3years and a staff for 7years. HE also confirmed the Gateman to have been at the Gate for 5years with clean record.
The CEO immediately instructed that the CSO should be sacked with the option of being redeployed to the gate house for Gatemanning for a year so that he can learn what the Gateman had learnt.
The former Gateman was moved up to CEO personal security position which is more like Assistant CSO  position  which had earlier being,advertised but not yet filled, at 10 times  more in  renumeration value and with accommodation.
Before you think too far, this was all imagined story lines but  I know some cords have been struck in your mind.
