Discovery and Courage - Critical For Your Next Move

Discovery and Courage - Critical For Your Next Move

From Odusina Adewale Hiworks

One of my campaign statement is that 'Beyond Common Sense Is The Right Action Taking In The Now. '

I dare to say that, THAT RIGHT ACTION is already resourced for us to undertake.

From studies, mentoring and experiences had, the only challenge our next move have is OURSELVES; most probably beclouded by wants that we call needs.

So be adjusted NOW, because you have all you need for the next move.

Once that is settled,  then if the claim is true that the next move is already resourced,  the 1St necessary action will be to DISCOVER what it is that is available for that next move.

Afterwards, With Courage make the move.

A lot of times, people focus on MONEY and wait endlessly for the money,  when the next necessary move is to go volunteer somewhere where the required business skill capacity can be developed.

The next necessary move may be acquiring necessary certificate with available capital to enhance project success.

The next necessary move may be to seek employment in a related project environment and grow required experience.

The next may be growing a business relationship with banks,  and organization that can facilitate such projects.

The next move may be to find a Trusted Mentor,  one that has experience or needed skill sets and be mentored for a period.

Shockingly, the next move could be to write the vision or project idea down and run through the plan; one may discover a clue to the next critical move for project success.

You may want to start a newspaper company and your next move is an online Journals and columns is the available papers.

Do not bring level 100 problems to your level 5 or level 5 to level 0.5.

Jesus had the mastery of the books of the laws and prophets at the age of 12 but started His ministry at 30years.

Life is a journey with many milestones and every cycle resourced. All you need now is what your current cycle requires.

So DISCOVER your next move now and be COURAGEOUS.

You are an Institution

You are an Institution

From Odusina Adewale Hiworks

You are an Institution, a product of certain schools of thoughts; ideologies you absolutely believed; You now know what to do to change you.

If you truly believe hard work is critical for success and you don't come across as  a diligent worker,  then you actually believed shabby performance can deliver success or you believed cutting corners can, however that will play out.

You claim you believe in God's empowerment, and you don't identify with His values:you are full of self aggrandizement, greed and accruing riches at the expense of genuinely honest hard working people. Sorry, the one behind the values you really project is called SATAN and he is simply having a nice time with you.

There are no 'suddenlies'

There are no 'suddenlies' that are not  consummations of some 'deliberatelies'; it could just be that minds were oblivious of the relative series of events. Odusina Adewale Hiworks Credited to Pastor Peter Alagbe At HOG Ikeja,  Sunday Service Session June 11, 2017.

When 'suddenlies' are the first jolts that any relationship is failing; business, marriage, friendship, and even our Piety,  then it is already quite a late alertness.

Most of the time,  building do not just collapse without indicating that it is distressed. Prior to collapse, there will be IGNORED strange occasionally alarming vibrations, IGNORED alarming cracks and many times IGNORED notice of Demolition by Building Local Authorities.

Unfortunately, the Deliberatelies don't make the news before the Suddenlies have taken a ravaging toll.

This is also the reality for most of every other life engagements. There are really very very few genuine suddenlies with difficult to track series of accumulated events.

When you completely ignore speed limit, chances you will have series of accidents are high and it is just a matter of when, how severe and the relative toll or impact. Your ignored series of event will be habitual over speeding.

Now,  if I know that you habitually over speed and I ride with you home from wherever, then my series of event will be being stupidly riding with a friend that habitually ignores speed limit.

Businesses do not just loose revenue and when revenue downward drift is the first jolt at realizing financial chaos, it is most of the time too late.

Most organisation have strategy for securing physical assets but have no clue for securing their most important intangible assets:their vision and mission philosophy.

When a business brand Identity is at the mercy of incompetent human resources and management,  Business Financial mess and Extinction are possible treats.

It is amazing that God has as a strategy to cut off parts of the body that hinder the overall well being of the body. Also do doctors.

Owners and management of Businesses have the responsility to protect the brand identities and be willing and ready to severe persons, teams, systems, practices and such like that run contrary to the brand philosophy:NIPPING SUCH IN THE BUD before they become prevailing threats.

There must definitely be an appraisal strategies that can identify the GAPs.

Most of the things I shared are from years of fellowshipping in Church, House of Grace, Ikeja, using audiovisual, watching TV, listening to radio,  study of Bibles and books; Significantly FREE; I ONLY PAID ATTENTION;You don't have any excuse for poor and shabby performance.

The Irony of Leadership

From Odusina Adewale Hiworks
The Irony of Leadership is that leaders are accountable for Raising Greater Leaders. If you find yourself mentally threatened by your subordinate, there is a problem with your leadership.

Also, if you are a subordinate, and your team leader works harder than you, you have a bigger problem;you are suppose to take his job for crying out loud, so he can handle more delicate and critical responsibilities for business growth and expansion.

Another irony of life is that we are all suppose to be leading a cycle where our impact can be evaluated and also following in another cycle, where another is reviewing and improving our capacity to function in our leading cycle. We must be hunble and sober enough to admit our flaws, unlearn some school of thought and embrace the way forward.

All of us; leaders as well as subordinates need mentorship and we are all leaders in progress.

Be Consciously Aware And Developing Your Personality Equity

Be Consciously Aware And Developing Your Personality Equity

By Odusina Adewale Hiworks

Personality Equity is our overall personality worth mentally and perceptually.

Personality equity or capital is mainly but not exclusively, the cumulative worth of our intellectual capital, social capital, political capital, and professional capital.
Others are trust equity, fidelity equity, loyalty equity, emotional equity,
The mentioned capital value chain are not in any order of significance as different people will project one more than the other in view of the cycle of influence they are more frequently engaging.

Why am I discussing this?

Well,  I have seen many people limited by their deficiency in one or more of the personality capital.

People have lost promotions, jobs, businesses, spouses, children, great friends and valuables for taking certain capacity development for granted.

I will define intellectual capital as the capacity to adroitly communicate the language of ones skill and experience to a layman and to solve relative problems. And I stand to be corrected.

Education and a quality one at that, is a critical factor in skill acquisition while experience is knowledge by participation.

I have engaged with fresh graduates of Engineering that depend on calculator for the elementary arithmetic multiples like 8x9, 7x9, 9x6, calculating profit and loses and such like.
How will such survive in the real world.

I have been resonating to my kids from elementary to study for life success..... That is a higher responsibility to be exposed to early.

This is how to develop intellectual capital consciousness and grow it from kindergarten and throughout a lifetime.

It is expected that everyone with intellectual capital should be able to trade and train with it.

It is unfortunate that a lot of people are exposed to opportunities for growing this capital without harnessing, documenting it or internalizing such.

A lot of us seat and are taught God's principles for success and impact from the Bible for at least 4hours weekly. We also are expected to spend time on our own reflecting on biblical principles

Then at school, work, and various places of interaction, our awareness to harness intellectual capacity is critical for the equity development.

Be Consciously Aware And Developing Your Personality Equity

Social Capital is the strength of Trust as expressed in economics; the strength of your words that you will over deliver what you promised.

Posterity will be more important than Prosperity

When building a Great business is on your front Burner,  Posterity will be more important than Prosperity... Odusina A. Hiworks

The quality of Posterity is the lifespan determiner of Prosperity; how staff are treated, how customers are treated, how the public/community/Government where the business is are treated will eventually determine the lifespan of the business.

Cheating Aided Common Entrance

It is an unfortunate trend that at common entrance level, students, parents and school authorities aid cheating for primary school pupils. THIS IS EVIL AND AS GRAVE AS A MUTINY; it is aiding a potential Nationwide legacy of social crisis;a society of poorly mannered adults always looking for short cuts, handouts,  and never able to come to terms the the philosophy of hard work and sustainable success.

When you cheat through school,  you deny yourself permanently the opportunity to be original.  Can you imagine being FAKE AT FIFTY??? So don't even start.

When you aid cheat directly and indirectly, you destroy another's opportunity to be original,  such will mature hopefully and regret you ever came to their lives. Can you imagine being full of regrets at FIFTY???  So do not aid cheating.

What goes round comes around.  The classmates cheating aided may be the doctor that will treat your love ones tomorrow and cause their death or be the builder tomorrow that will build the collapsed building you rented or join the law enforcement agency and then compromise in a security issue.

We must teach our children the values of hard work and dignity of labour.

People of Complex Routine

People of Complex Routine

From Odusina Adewale Hiworks

It's amazing how we take such ones for granted.

For all said and done with all the unmentionable complexities, hadly will 2 out of 5 get paid in at least, 2 letter words; THANK YOU because most of us do not think it is a full time job.

My advice to you is to take a day of and run the below mentioned routine for one day and see what happens.

I am very sure you will say thank you to at least one person in your life.

Meanwhile, decoding the jargons below is to give an impression of how complex the routines are and the strength of the people running them daily and most times without complaining.

I will really love to know the person or people you eventually called and what you said  to them.

A NAIRA TO A DOLLAR POSSIBLE??? - Our Cumulative Responsibily

A 25kva generator was N4700 in 1979.

[4/5, 15:43] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: Do you know that in dollars it is still about the same value in cost to the naira then.

[4/5, 15:43] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: Or very close

[4/5, 15:44] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: Do you know that in dollars it is still the value of the naira then

[4/5, 15:49] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: Do we know that 5 products like Microsoft can take us back to 1N to a dollar. Or Permanent cure for HIV, Ebola, Leprosy,  Hypertension, Diabetes and when the world conquer those ones more we evolve and that can be the challenge for another generation.
[4/5, 15:52] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: This is how simple solving Nigerian economic problems can be ;5 ordinary Nigerian with the right world problem solving idea and financial support.
[4/5, 15:52] Adewale Adekoya cacl: In 1983, N1 = $2, i think the gen set is cheaper today. But we hav lost the benefit/value to poorly managed country and corruption/looters.
[4/5, 15:58] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: Do we know that we don't need to depend on Government to do the magic. We just need to have a sizable number of business  people in Nigeria trading products in huge volume across our border in exchange for the dollars to the point our informal market have the dollars surplus enough. As people are becoming desperate to sell, dollars will become pure water.... It may take a while though but that is the guaranteed way out of our mess; REAL MARKET DRIVEN EXCHANGE RATE.

I am disposed to be one of them and with a 1,000,000.00 Real Nigerian doing genuine international business and please do not look too far as Cotonou is abroad as well as the entire west Africa.

[4/5, 16:07] Adewale Adekoya cacl: 1. No manufacturing/Agro processing companys

[4/5, 16:16] B J AJAYI: We need government....
[4/5, 16:18] B J AJAYI: It goes beyond that - the technologies being developed in Nigeria are taken, stolen, or dashed out to foreigners who make money from it before it is realized.  You need stability to make progress.

[4/5, 16:25] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: You need a 300W solar panel to power some light points, a 14inch tv,a decoder, a laptop and a fan to work 12 hours a day and sleep well at night. That will cost about N400,000.00. And you only replace your battery every 2 - 7 years depending on use and quality of battery. This may be considered a luxury. So you can do half of that for light, fan and laptop or tv at a time. That is N200,000.00 and whatever a man have to sacrifice to solve his business problem is worth it.

[4/5, 16:28] B J AJAYI: Where will the solar panel, tv,can, etc come from? What fraction of the N400k or N200k benefits Nigeria in terms of job or wealth creation? That is the issue.
[4/5, 16:37] Odusina Adewale Hiworks: I will recommend this book 'who moved my Cheese ' it changed my approach to life and situation. Government appear or is dysfunctional and so I am disposed to be my own government and may take a little while longer.  Cadbury had operated in over 2 decades without public power,  MTN people claimed made Roi in one year where power was epileptic.

What do I have to do is the question I must answer and take corresponding action upon.

Conquer level 5....and then

Hiworks Mentorship Series

Tuesday, 4 April 2017

Conquer level 5....and then

Success = The Guts to Dream + The Guts to Try + The Guts to Retry after Failed attempt(s).

Success is an altitudinal journey with many possibilities of stopovers and setbacks.

It is amazing to note that the skill David needed to conquer Goliath was acquired while managing the so called 'few sheep' but we can obviously perceive that he must have done that job like his life depended on it. He was so devoted that a great prophet was coming to town and he didn't take a day off or leave to see how the war was fairing. Devotion is sacrosanct.

On this trip,  in as much as our mind must be set at the end result,  we need to focus on the various milestones or guiding rules and the Bible calls that precepts.

You don't wake up one day and do 100 pressups or pushups for fitness; in fact, on your first day attempt, you may crash at 5 of that with a lot of pains in your joints for another week or two; pains good enough to make you change your mind and your dream of 100 pressups or pushups will die in the dreamland.

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:  For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.  To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.  But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
Isaiah 28:10‭-‬13 KJV
http://bible.com/1/isa.28.10-13.KJV

Can you remember the last dream to get better, the training you quited, the book you never read, the business you never started, the fitness exercise you stopped, and so on.

The knowledge of Precepts teaches us to focus on 5 and then journey to 10, and maybe in a month, you will stretch to 20, then 40 in six months and probably 100 after a year. But remember you started by conquering only 5 and 5 was very critical for the entire journey.

Some of us are still contemplating to do or not to do, at level 5.

This is very parallel to any pursuit.

So look at the entire picture of your dream in perspective, BUT focus on your level 5 with everything that you have got in your GUTS....... but you must come to terms with the HELP OF GOD.

TO BE CONTINUED....
