We Must Build an Ideological Campaign for Integrity, Honesty, Selflessness, and National Patriotism.
We need to be watchful of practices in Government that can jeopardize our sovereignty and speak out against such. Our patriotism requires that accountability of every citizen. Stop looking the other way.
When a superpower like China despises all the financial investment risk evaluation reports and pumps billions into Africa with the kind of people at our helm of affairs, we must be concerned.
There is no free money in China and they don't practice the government as we know it in Africa. When we pay back China and Africa win, and when we don't pay back, China eventually wins.
We should be grateful to a country like China willing to invest in Africa with our culture of not willing to pay back even when our OWN INDIGENOUS BANKS ARE PLAYING POLITICS with our common wealth in their custodies.
A lot of our honest Igbo traders are able to do business on account of the leverages Chinese Investors allow them to exploy. They can buy volume and pay conveniently. Our Nigeria banks will ask for a Leg and a Foot to be cut and kept in their custody to give such opportunities, unfortunately.
However, there are concerns for African Government with the culture of defaulting on payments, especially on previous loans taken from Europe and the West. Lots of backlog of the loans all over the place and now from China. China unlike Democratic nations always win the loan battle one way or the other and the countries will pay. A lot of these loans are low or no interest for crying out loud.
This is a Campaign, African people should demand stewardship from their various government before they are sold out on loans to trade by barter.
We should do business with the right motive. We should take loans with the mind and willingness to pay back.
As Africans we must as a matter of responsibility build an ideological campaign for Integrity, Honesty, Selflessness, and National Patriotism, from the family fronts and the business fronts. Let us celebrate those values before our children and colleagues and be examples in practice. Let's have a zero-tolerance for the various show of greed and selfishness as we know them.
Let's generate enough ripples in that regard while we are also praying harder for the kind of leadership that only God can bring in Africa.
Only God has the miraculous wand for our complex problems. Hiworks
