Movement- Critical Progress Factor

There is a saying that  ' no venture no gain'.Venture as we know, points directly to risk taking.

Movement as we know, points  directly to action on certain decision and reflects intention to achieve certain goal either good or bad.

It is very important that we are disposed to movements as against being defined by stagnancy.
Stagnancy points to staleness, deadness,irrelivance,irritancy,retrogression,brain deadness, zero productivity,hopelessness,faithlessness,deapondency and list goes on and on.

How do you know when you Are gravitating towards stagnancy?

When you notice the following are begining to define your personality......

If you unhappy continually, it is most likely stagnancy trying to find a hold on you.

If you are an unhappy teenager, eatablish the cause and seek  help.

If it is perpectual failure to access higher learning, evaluate previous preparation and invest three times more effort, find a mentor, Change your circle of friendships and read related books and build a fresh confidence level to succeed.

If the cause is an abuse of whatever sort, then expose it irrespective of the  immediately public embarrassment it may bring on.

When unemployment is an object of stagnancy,  then find a place to volunteer.  I am 100% sure that even if you have sought for a job for 5years, in 5 days you can find a place to volunteer  and afterwards, your chances of getting a paid employment in 5months is  pretty higher.

Sometimes, it could be a new line manager, a new job description, a cut in renumeration, a denied or delayed promotion that  are possible objects of unhappiness.

You must weather that weather by creating Movement against the obvious emotional set back. You must lead you emotions.

Talk you you; say to you, I love my job. I am excited with what I do. My job make Me relevant to humanity. Service to humanity defines my job attitude. Every challenges at work are required to Bring the BEST out of Me. I love everyone in my team irrespective. I have all it takes to earn more and I will do all I can to impact my work productively and earn more eventually.
I am unique in every way.

When we talk to ourselves long enough, the HOLD of stagnancy will eventually break.

Other ways are to seek capacity improvement, change the job, the Branch, go on leave, retreat, Read related books and such like.

One can not be unhappy and making progress at the same time.

But be rather sober.


Unhappiness in a negative emotion that can keep you stagnated.

But SOBRIETY is a positive emotion that inspire humility, taken responsibility and making right life changing adjustment.Challenges are meant to humble us:they are meant to make us realize there is more than we have become comfortable with but these more will not be delivered to us on a platter of gold. 

If you are unhappy in your marriage do not allow stagnancy to have a grip: unhappiness always points to 'gettings'. Change that focus - SEEK OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE MORE.

If it is a physical abuse like Battery, move out for sometime until your confidence is restored and a clear evidence of character adjustment in your spouse.

If it is emotional abuse, cut off from being dependent by seeking  to earn or earn more to cover for all areas of dependency and give more of what you are supposedly being denied: time, attention,communication,parenting need for the kids,etc

Remember, you had made progress in your life before the marriage and you can continue to make progress with or without the marriage.

Above all pray more for your spouse.

When retired,  the general proclivity is zero economic value to the society.   The general propensity is for the society or Government to pay for such person's livelihood.

Sir, with due respect, how many people in your community is getting such benefits from the society or Government? Blames do not put food on the table or pay for welfare. The age when children take full responsibility for their parents needs is fast going into extinction. 

We must mind our retirement business seriously even more than our immediate needs.

Retirement must not be an excuse for stagnancy. It is the greatest Opportunity to find a new level of relevance.
In the least, a retirement points to at least 25-35years of life experiences that may not have been documented.

BEST sellers can be written and Sold over the years of retirement and Who knows the fortunes that could evolve from such wealth of experience.

A mentoring programme can be initiated during retirement which could be free or monitized. Which ever way relevance or Movement has been initiated.

Remember that the only antidote for stagnancy is movement and we dispense less energy in movement  than when we need to stay stagnant. 



So make Movement consciously and continually.
