No Not, No Can't, No Won't and No Don't Attitude

No Not, No Can't,  No Won't and No Don't Attitude
From Odusina Adewale Hiworks
We must have a zero tolerance for not, won't, can't and don't with regards to Performance and Expectations.
There is a world of opportunities outside the box defined by such negativities.
Between where we Are and the goals or task at hand, set by self or by another, there will always be a box point.
The box is simply to allow for a point to retreat, refresh, reflect, rethink and refire.
However, most people retreat and return or resign to fate.
The box is meant to allows for a soft landing position between set goals or task and the expectations.
For example, if the task is to look for a document in an identified location, say, inside a closet, the closet will then be THE BOX.
An exceptional performer, will look 'IN THE BOX' which is one limited location and 'OUTSIDE THE BOX' which is Limitless and Boundless and the beautiful irony is that when we operate outside the box, even the box is included.
Hence, a document assumed to be in a closet, maybe on the closet,or the table by the closet, or in the second closet, or with the last person it was asigned to and the options go on and on and on.
Personalities with these attitude are always results oriented for most of their tasks and work with very minimal supervision. They also accrue to themselves strong Reliability Rating. We define Reliability at Hiworks as Responsibility + Ownership Motivation.
The critical expectation is that if you must go back without the document, you must be perceived and found to have exhausted all the options for finding that document.
If you  were given the task to submit a report by the next morning at 5pm, then your plan to succeed is as critical as your plan not to fail. However, the plan not to fail may imply staying overnight at the office where you are sure the generator will work overnight as against where you stay and there is an embargo on running Genset overnight.
This must be the attitude for all task to be attended in perspective.
We must have a result oriented approach to all our life goals and aspirations.
We must benchmark international BEST practices standards in every aspect of our life pursuit. This will  help stretch us to the acceptable limit and to appreciate the sacrifice  required to lead in our chosen Career and various life ambitions.
So No to Not, Can't, Won't and Don't.

No!!! To Baseless Sentiment in Business.

From Odusina Adewale Hiworks

Are you in that  Business for the Profit, PR or Philanthropy or Volunteering

I feel strongly that both parties to a business interest must have the same view of the expected outcome: The expected benefits of the business must be clear.

The client must appreciate the value proposition of the service provider.

It will not be fair when the provider is volunteering and the Client is relating as when it is for profit. There should  be room for price adjustment when the proposition changes from one to another

When it is a PR or Volunteering, it is expected that the offer is near market prices; offers are generally with no or marginal profit.

Volunteering and Pr business basically provide opportunity for new clients to appreciate the quality and timeliness of a new provider with limited risk.

Under, these strategies, a provider can adopt a Fix only option where the client buys all products or pays for all  expenditures (logistics, stationeries and such likes) and pays provider for installed items or pays a token for the intellectual inputs.

However, gravitation towards baseless Sentiment and zero value proposition precails when Client expects the service providers to  volunteer or do
PR after a satisfactory engagement.

That will not be fair to the business as value proposition is lost.

For a profitable business engagement, there must be due diligence activities around setting the right price, and timeline for the Client, base on the required clear expectations, the level of required competence, delivery time, and anticipated logistics.

The margin for overhead, discount  and profit must be clear.

Under volunteering and PR,  clauses for ease of disengagement must be clear to both parties before agreement are signed to cut down on losses  and avoid unnecessary  litigation.

The continuity of business is synonymous with sound business ethics and values.

However,  profitability is key to sustainability and Say no!!! when you have to.

COMMON OVERSIGHTS IN BUILDING SERVICES PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION –PROJECT PROFITABILITY IN PERSPECTIVE

COMMON OVERSIGHTS IN BUILDING SERVICES PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION –PROJECT PROFITABILITY IN PERSPECTIVE We have been in the building services industry for a while now as consultants and also as Technical Directors for implementations and have discovered some common pitfalls leading to low profitability due to particular and repeated poor project administration strategies that can be improved upon. Projects are not profitable just because the SELL rates are high but primarily because value engineering strategies are deplored consistently. If you would like to have us come and review your processes and recommend some of these strategies, then email us at hwsl2014@gmail.com. We carry out the basic review in one or two session based on the scope to be covered as will be discussed or via the brief received. Otherwise, a training session that could run for weeks at client location may be recommended. The 1st session allows us to understand how it had been and especially when the brief is not clear. The second session always focuses on how THINGS SHOULD RUN. The second session may not be the next day when the required competence is to be outsourced. However, such may be within the week of the 1st session. Our business review runs between 10am – 3pm on days as shall be agreed. Our offer is very attractive as this is inspired and driven by our social responsibility value system. The more productive our society is, the stronger our Economy and the better will be our lifestyle. For further clarification email hwsl2014@gmail.com You can also call or sms +2347011185434. DELIVERING HIGH IMPACT RESULTS IN LOW PROBABILITY ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT

Highly Recommended from my Brother Gbolade with my EDO Root name IGHODIA

Growth forecast for Africa in 2016 with the continent expected to grapple with economic headwinds was put at an estimated USD$100BN. Three economies in the continent are expected to generate nearly half of all that growth; Nigeria tops the table with USD$25BN followed by Egypt with USD$12BN trailed by South Africa with USD$8BN. The other 51 countries are expected to jostle for the remaining USD$55BN if they are bullish enough otherwise the three top economies at their bullish best may encroach further into their projected gains.

In a season of economic recession the growth numbers signpost to decision makers what is important: namely that the high impact result and growth will come from the most challenging market environments. A quick look at the ease of doing business index of the continent will show South Africa to be at the top of the log yet it expects much lower growth compared to Nigeria and Egypt while Nigeria which lags behind the other two is projected to enjoy the biggest growth of the three.

But except the capability of your organization is developed for high impact innovation and decision making activities you may not be able to take advantage of the projected growth particularly in a difficult low probability economic environment. It is the mission of organizational leaders to deploy innovation as a lever for high impact result and growth for their businesses; through the utilization of their market’s Knowledge, People and Systems for high impact activities with desirable direct, indirect and induced effects on your customers, markets and sector.

With half the year already gone, leaders of businesses will have to work fast, smartly and deliberately in fostering innovation to be at their bullish best in making up for lost time. We provide innovation support that enables you utilize your three focus fields of innovation of Knowledge, People and systems for high impact decision making with bullish returns. With MISL support you will be able to make for your business informed decision in terms of the right idea, in the right place (customers, markets, location) at the right time (low probability and difficult socio-economic environment)

We will be looking forward to having your request to work together with you to deploy innovation in your business for high impact result.
